Fun and Worthwhile...

As a parent you might want your children to spend some of their leisure time doing something worthwhile - but not boring. As a parent you might want your children to be able to enjoy using the Internet at home but to access only appropriate websites. The strength of GridClub is that it's lots of fun, educational and built especially for kids. GridClub works because the fun element is sufficient that children love using it at home and don't mind that it is educational.

It's a win-win for parents!

There are many activities which parents can join in with, like games supporting two or more players. There are also opportunities to engage with your child, be it making music, painting like a great artist, writing stories, playing chess, learning Spanish or doing maths. There are sites to help with literacy and numeracy and to make better use of the computer. Alternatively, if you've got other things to get on with, your child will find plenty of activities to occupy them. The problem's more likely to be stopping a child from playing on GridClub.

And who said learning can't be fun?

GridClub is mainly aimed at 5-12 year olds, but children of a much wider age range enjoy the site. Try the tasters to get a feel for the website.

"We are a 'Playing for Success' centre based at Telford Ice Rink. We have always used your GridClub games and are now lost without them."

"Dear GridClub,
Thank you for e-mailing me, with a view to subscribing. My children are 6 and 9 years old and I have been Home Educating them all their lives. This website would be very useful to us, at the moment we like using the computer - it's rather more exciting than using pen and paper."
