Yom Kippur
|
|
The blowing of the 'shofar', or ram's horn trumpet, marks the end of Yom Kippur, or 'Day of Atonement'. Yom Kippur ends a period called 'The Ten Days of Repentance', a time each year when Jewish people remember the things they have done wrong and promise to do better the following year.
