What type of gods did the Greeks worship?
The Greeks worshiped more than a dozen gods and goddesses. They believed the gods had adventures like humans; they fought wars, quarrelled, and fell in love. The Greeks also believed that the gods could help or harm humans, so they built many temples where they prayed and offered sacrifices.
