What is the Hajj?
All Muslim men must try to make the 'Hajj', or pilgrimage to Mecca, at least once in their lifetime. When they reach Mecca's Grand Mosque, they pass seven times around the Ka'aba, a chamber with a holy black stone in one corner. It culminates in the Feast of Sacrifices, in which every Muslim family that can afford to slaughters a sheep.
