What did Egyptian boats look like?
|
|
Egyptian boats carried cargoes up and down the River Nile. Each boat had a huge sail, which was wider than it was tall. One man stood in the stern, directing the boat by moving the double steering oars. There were lookout posts at each end of the boat.
