Where was Canaan?
|
|
Canaan was the land we now know as Israel. In about 1250 BC, the Israelites, led by Joshua, invaded Canaan. The Canaanites were better armed and fought from horses and chariots, but the Israelites were able to defeat many Canaanite cities.
