Why do some animals only come out at night?
|
|
Animals that only come out at night are called nocturnal. They may be nocturnal in order to catch other nocturnal animals or to avoid daytime predators, or both. Nocturnal animals often have large eyes and good eyesight. They also need a sharp sense of smell and good hearing to listen for danger.
