Why do some rabbits have drooping ears?
This brown-and-grey lop-eared rabbit has very long, drooping ears. Lops have been specially bred over several centuries by mating does (female rabbits) and bucks (male rabbits) with long ears. Other rabbits (such as chinchillas) are bred to have long fur.
