The planets of the Solar System are Mercury (1), Venus (2), Earth (3), Mars (4), Jupiter (5), Saturn (6), Uranus (7), Neptune (8) and Pluto (9). All rotate anticlockwise when viewed from above their north poles, except Venus, which is the only planet to rotate clockwise. Here, the sun rises in the west and sets in the east.
